Your tasks
  • Independent procurement of production materials (including chips, paper, cardboard, and printing inks) and services.
  • A systematic comparison of offers, taking into account price, quality, availability, and sustainability.
  • Independently conducting price and terms negotiations—including with international suppliers in English.
  • Management of ordering processes, including schedule tracking and complaint handling.
  • Close coordination with production, work planning, and other departments.
  • Conducting needs assessments to ensure procurement that is both needs-based and cost-effective.
  • Analysis of market, price, and procurement trends to identify specific actions.
  • Active further development and digitization of procurement processes.
  • Optimizing and monitoring inventory levels to ensure supply security and reduce tied-up capital.
  • Contributing to make-or-buy decisions from an economic and strategic perspective.
  • Establishment, evaluation, and further development of an efficient supplier network.
Your profile
  • Completed business training or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in operational procurement at a manufacturing company.
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in working with key performance indicators.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to assert oneself.
  • High level of self-motivation and a structured and organized approach to work.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office and ERP/merchandise management systems.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
