In the new issue (02/2026) of the magazine “Nutzen,” published by the North-West Printing and Media Association, nagels was featured as a family-owned business. In keeping with the issue’s focus on “PrintSells,” we had the opportunity to present ourselves through a personal profile of our company and family.

A Closer Look at nagels

Under the title “Nagels Druck GmbH – Access Through Technology, the article highlights what sets us apart today: the combination of decades of printing expertise, technological innovation, and international system solutions.

For us, this is a wonderful recognition of our growth. Because even though our roots are clearly in traditional printing, we’ve long been thinking beyond products and processes, always with an eye toward the intelligent interfaces between people, information, places, and systems.

Print Meets Technology

This article focuses on our solutions for tickets, labels, and RFID technology. Whether it’s parking tickets, public transit tickets, event passes, vouchers, or labels for product identification and tracking: Our products are used wherever identification, access, and information must function reliably.

RFID, in particular, is playing an increasingly important role in this context. The technology enables contactless identification and data transmission, thereby creating efficient, secure, and forward-looking applications—including in logistics, retail, and healthcare.

Innovation is part of our DNA

The report also highlights how closely innovation at Nagel's Druck is linked to courage, speed, and entrepreneurial decision-making. A prime example is our entry into RFID production, which involved a major investment and a great deal of confidence in the future.

Today we know that this was the right move. It has advanced our technology and strengthened our position as an international partner for smart ticketing and labeling solutions. Our motto sums it up perfectly: “We don’t walk, we run.”

International in scope, but rooted in Kempen

The article also highlights our global focus. From our headquarters in Kempen, we serve customers worldwide. At the same time, we maintain an international presence through additional locations, subsidiaries, and sales and service offices.

Despite this global focus, Kempen remains our central production and corporate headquarters. This is where many of our solutions are created, where our teams work closely together, and where we collaborate to develop new ideas for the markets of tomorrow.

Thank you for the introduction

We are very pleased about this publication. The article highlights what we stand for: printing expertise, technology, a spirit of innovation, and a strong team that’s always on the move.
