Together for a healthy forest

Lesedauer < 1 min.

On June 18, 2025, the largest planting campaign in North Rhine-Westphalia to date was launched in Kempen: "NRW plants - One million trees for NRW". The initiative, initiated by the Robin Gut Foundation, aims to plant one million new trees on damaged forest areas and in climate-resilient mixed forests over the coming years. The patron is NRW Minister President Hendrik Wüst.

nagels is part of this important movement:
In cooperation with the Unternehmerkreis Kempen (UKK), nagels got involved at an early stage and donated 50 trees (worth 1,000 euros) right at the start. In total, around 1,500 trees have been pledged in the network - a strong sign of corporate responsibility and local commitment.

"For us, sustainability is not just an economic mission, but above all a social one. We are convinced that investing today lays the foundations for tomorrow."

Insa Nagels - Managing Director of nagels.

Working together for a healthy forest
Especially in times of progressive climate change, it is clear that healthy, species-rich forests are essential for climate protection, water balance and biodiversity. The "NRW plants" project aims to meet these challenges with joint action - across all cities and municipalities.

With our tree donation, we not only want to make an active contribution, but also encourage other companies and partners to take part in the campaign. Because every tree counts.
